Consolidated Election Petition Notice

VILLAGE OF PEOTONE NOMINATION PETITION FILING – 2025 CONSOLIDATED ELECTION NOVEMBER 12-18, 2024

Candidate nominating petitions for the Tuesday, April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election for the offices of one (1) Village President, for a four-year term and three (3) Village Trustees, each for a four-year term, will be accepted at the Village Clerk’s Office during regular business hours at the Village Hall, 208 E. Main Street, starting at 8:00am on November 12, 2024 through 5:00pm on November 18, 2024.

If petitions are filed for the same office at 8:00am on the first day or between 4:00pm and 5:00pm on the last day of filing, a public lottery will be held to determine the order of candidates’ names on the ballot for the first and last positions on the ballot. If necessary, a lottery will be held at 4:00pm on November 26, 2024
